Beautiful cottage in the little village of Badachro. We used it as a base to explore Wester Ross. We enjoyed a meal in the Badachro Inn and purchased a bottle of the locally produced gin. There are lots of interesting walks nearby. The beach at Gairloch is beautiful, and there's a great coffee shop, Coast coffee, serving delicious scones.Theres a centre in Gairloch where you can pick up brochures giving you ideas of what to do. We even travelled north past Ullapool to Stac Polly. There are gorgeous beaches such as Big Sand, Redpoint Beach and Mellon Udrigle. There's a museum and coastal walk commemorating the Russian Arctic Convoys which left from this area and another walk to a World War 2 plane crash site.

Very clean and tidy warm and cosy
    Mrs Kinfley - August 2018
Excellent stay for third year in a row. Will look to book again for next year. The bedroom downstairs is a bit of a loss though. Like the fact that’s there’s no WiFi so can completely switch off.

We were very lucky to book this house at short notice during the Easter holidays to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. The house is in a super location and is very spacious with beautiful views both at the front and back. It is in a perfect spot for walks along Redpoint beach, a stone's throw from the Badachro Inn and a short drive into Gairloch village. We were lucky to have warm sunny weather which made our stay perfect. The house itself was very cosy and homely and we would have no hesitation in booking Torridon Sunrise in the future.

Lovely House. Very warm & comfortable. Wonderful views. Very quiet & peaceful. We had a wonderful Christmas with our family. Thank you.
    Mrs Hoult - December 2017
We were two couples looking for a place to centre our explorations of the west coast of Scotland, and Torridon Sunrise was perfect! The house was very comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. The house could easily and comfortably accommodated another two couples too! Only negative was a lack of wifi - but that was easily obtained at The local Badachro Inn pub which also had had excellent food, beer, and wine selection, and friendly staff and locals. Gairloch nearby has an excellent butcher with extensive groceries. In addition to our extensive explorations during the week which ranged from Skye to Durness, we went out creel fishing with Badachro local Ian McWhinny. Highly recommended!

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Torridon Sunrise. The house was really comfortable to stay in with a nice kitchen and dining space and also a separate sitting room to relax in. The bedrooms were all very spacious and comfortable. We were really lucky with the weather for our stay and were able to enjoy the large decking space and garden outside in amazing sunshine. The house has beautiful views out to the mountains from the back door and drive area and you also have views down to the bay at Badachro from the front of the house. The house is only a few minutes walk away from the well known Badachro Inn, which again overlooks the bay. You are also only a few minutes drive away to Gairloch, which has a really nice beach and walks, as well as local shops. There were a number of superb beaches we visited nearby. Red Point and Mellon Udrigle were our favourites. Definitely recommend the regular Wednesday night ceilidh at Poolewe, which has great music and dancing. Thanks for a great stay!
    Mr Curtin - August 2017
Spacious and well appointed property in a very scenic part of the country. On arrival the house was an absolute delight to enter with large bright rooms with good views in all directions, and interesting nautical decorations inside. A well maintained garden also. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would recommend this house.
    Mr Smith - July 2017
We had a very enjoyable stay at Torridon Sunrise. A pity the view from the cottage was not as seen on the web site due to the fact that a bungalow had been built in front and also some tall trees. I would stress that this would not have altered our opinion of a great place. Everything was impeccable and clean. Apart from the cooker hood which was filthy with grease and also the filter, and the cooker light was not working. The kitchen floor area was greasy which my wife had to clean. The Dimplex heater in the shower room was not working (though we did not have to use it). All of these have been pointed out to the owner. We would certainly recommend this cottage and would like to go back at some stage. I am still waiting for my deposit back but has only been a week.
    Mr Tidmarsh - June 2017
We thoroughly enjoyed our week, and all the peace and quiet. But as a 4-bedroom cottage, it will almost certainly be a family staying there like ourselves - and teeneagers nowadays cannot go a week without accessing wi-fi! If there was any chance of providing wi-fi access too, Torridon Sunrise would undoubtedly get six stars in my book!
    Mr Mcintyre - April 2017
Spectacular views, lovely beach, beautiful cottage......highly recommended it workaholics!
    Mr Matarutse - April 2015
Well appointed although fridge was too small for bottles to stand up, beautifully clean . Would recommend for families.
    Mrs Goodey - May 2013
A car is essential for access to the cottage and for going to places of interest in the region. A very comfortable, clean and modern self catering cottage that is remote but well situated for access to wonderful sandy beaches, to places of general interest and to the mountains. The views of the Torridon mountains and out over the sea to Skye and the islands of the Outer Hebrides from this area are stunning. Gairloch, some 7 miles away, is the nearest centre for groceries, pharmacy and other services. There is no land line telephone at the cottage and it is worth noting that mobile telephone reception is not available in that area for some networks. Very good value for money. Would return.
    Mr Pusey - May 2012
Our second stay at Torridon sunrise we all really enjoyed it and hope to return in the not to distant future.
