Set in an elevated position with beautiful waterside views of the Lochinver Bay, Waterloo Lodge is the luxurious retreat you have been searching for. Complete with a bubbling hot tub outside on the patio as well as an infra-red sauna built into the landing on the upper level of the property, this wooden lodge has all of the added extras you could possibly desire in a holiday let. The glass front of the building allows guests in to enjoy the breathtaking views of this pretty coastal village, which sits against the backdrop of the Assynt Mountain range. The lounge itself has a high ceiling, yet still feels extremely cosy with the addition of underfloor heating and an open fire - perfect for warming those toes! The kitchen/dining room again takes advantage of the views, and contains all of the modern appliances you could need during your stay. The full width bi-fold doors in here mean that you can dine ‘al fresco’ on those gorgeously sunny days. Each of the bedrooms are en suite, and master bedroom has the added bonus of a private balcony, the perfect place to pull up a pew and relax with your morning coffee and a good book. This property is really quite special, and we are sure that your stay here will be truly memorable.

The West coast of Scotland has some of the best sandy beaches around, including Achmelvich Bay to name just one. For walking enthusiasts, there are numerous Munros in the area and plentiful trails to wander around including Culag woods. This area is also full of wildlife, so you are sure to spot otters, seals birds and deer during your visit. The Highland Stoneware pottery in the village is also a must-visit, so make sure you stop by and get a little memento for your time here! Whatever you decide to do during your holiday in this pretty little coastal town, this really is a lovely place for a break and you are sure to enjoy this part of Scotland.

    Waterloo Lodge reviews
Waterloo Lodge is an absolutely stunning property, from the hot tub to the infra red sauna, the fabulous kitchen and Sky TV. We had a brilliant holiday and could not fault anything at all. Spotlessly clean and well equipped, hope we can return one day.
    Mrs Frodsham - August 2019

    Mrs Miller - July 2019
The property, setting and views were amazing. We enjoyed every minute of our holiday. We have stayed in many outstanding properties but from the minute we arrived we felt at home. The property is spectacular and extremely well equipped, there was nothing we wanted or needed that wasn't there. I can not recommend this property enough. Whoever stays at Waterloo Lodge will have a wonderful time. Nearby beaches are also amazing.
    Mrs Brierley - May 2019
