Yealand House enjoys a stunning hillside position with spectacular views over Crinan Harbour to the sound of Jura, Scarba and The Gulf of Corryvreckan.

Welcoming and comfortable, this much loved family home has a mix of antique and country-style modern furnishings creating a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The highlight is the large sitting room with its stunning views. The double height ceiling, minstrels’ gallery and many windows fill the room with light while the cosy wood burning stove and comfortable seating make it a delightful room to gather in throughout the year.  Doors lead out onto a deck balcony where summer time drinks can be enjoyed while watching glorious sunsets and the gentle movements of boats. The deck gives direct access to the pretty garden and a path and steps lead down through woodland to the picturesque harbour where many yachts are moored.

The friendly village of Crinan with its historic canal is just a short walk. Watch yachts sail in and out of the Atlantic, stroll along the shoreline or canal paths, enjoy freshly caught seafood or just relax and unwind in this beautiful location.

    Yealand House reviews
Yealand House offers stunning views over Jura and Scarba, you never get tired watching clouds, mist, sunsets and sailing boats. The house is an excellent base for trips around Argyll and Bute. We particularly enjoyed Crarae and Arduaine gardens, they really are worth the trip. WIFI worked well. However, Yealand House's rating could be improved to five stars by new mattresses in the two double bedrooms, replacing some of the bent pans and coffee pots with cracks and adding kitchen knives etc. Also, we missed a dining room, may be the separate lounge could be used as dining room?

A very welcoming beautifully furnished home easily heated and in good condition. There were only four of us so plenty room to spread ourselves around . We did enjoy the use of the piano also. The view from the sitting room window was magnificent and ever changing. Well stocked kitchen. Nice welcome from Irene and lots of information. Lovely meal in the welcoming Crinan hotel. Nice lunch in the Tayvallich Inn. Endless magnificent Scottish scenery.
