UK Uncovered Survey Competition (Win a £1000 holidaycottages.co.uk voucher)

Entries open at 10am on 16th March 2026 and will close at 5pm on 11th May 2026 (the Promotion Period). Any entries received after this date will not be considered.
2. The survey in various forms will be shared across our network of brands over a range of dates. The promotion dates are as follows:
a. Cottages in Northumberland: 10am, 16th March 2026 – 5pm, 23rd March 2026
b. Cottages & Castles: 10am, 16th March 2026 – 5pm, 23rd March 2026
c. Marsden Cottages: 10am, 23rd March 2026 – 5pm, 30th March 2026
d. Wales Cottage Holidays: 10am, 30th March 2026 – 5pm, 6th April 2026
e. Norfolk Cottages: 10am, 6th April 2026 – 5pm, 13th April 2026
f. Ingrid Flutes: 10am, 13th April 2026 – 5pm, 20th April 2026
g. Cornish Horizons: 10am, 20th April 2026 – 5pm, 27th April 2026
h. Sally’s Cottages: 10am, 27th April 2026 – 5pm, 4th May 2026
i. Suffolk Secrets: 10am, 4th May 2026 – 5pm, 11th May 2026
(and each a Survey)
3. The Competition is only open to UK residents who are over 18.
4. No employees, their families, or agencies of the Promoter are eligible to enter.
5. No purchase is necessary to enter.
6. The Promoter has the right to withdraw the offer at any time without notice in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
7. By entering the Competition, the entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
How to Participate
1. To enter, complete the online entry form during the Promotion Period.
2. Internet access and a valid email address are required.
3. Only correctly and fully completed entries will be accepted.
4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
5. Entries through agents or third parties, including entries which are automatically generated by computer; completed by third parties or in bulk; illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; photocopies and not originals; or are incomplete, will not be accepted.
6. One entry per email address is permitted. Only the first entry per email address and for the first Survey completed (if multiple Surveys are completed) will be counted; subsequent entries will be disqualified.
7. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of the Terms and Conditions or the spirit of the Terms and Conditions.
Selection of the Winner
8. There will be one (1) Winner from all the Surveys completed.
9. The Winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period.
The Prize
10. Prize:
1. £1,000 holidaycottages.co.uk voucher, regardless of which Survey is completed. There is only one Prize.
11. Additional Details:
1. Holidaycottages.co.uk vouchers are valid for new bookings only and must be redeemed within 12 months of issue. Holidays can be taken at any time, subject to availability. Full voucher terms and conditions are available here.
2. The Prize is subject to availability. If any item becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, it may be substituted with an item of equal or greater value.
3. No cash alternatives are available. The Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, and must not be sold.
Notification of the Winner and receipt of the Prize
12. The Winner of the Prize will be notified by the email address provided with the competition entry no later than 5pm on 18th May The Winner must confirm that they accept the Prize by 5pm on 22nd May (Notification Date)
13. In respect of the holidaycottages.co.uk voucher prize, a correspondent at The Travel Chapter Limited will reach out to the Winner and will send the voucher to them via email following successful notification.
14. The Promoter will not be liable if the Prize is lost, delayed or damaged for reasons beyond their reasonable control, or any additional expenses that may be incurred by the Winner in relation to the Competition or their Prize.
15. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Winner. If the Promoter is unable to contact the Winner then the Promoter reserves the right to select a replacement Winner.
16. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all respects in relation to entrants and the Promoter will not enter into any further correspondence.
17. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, their agents, suppliers, distributors, officers, directors, employees and shareholders will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner, or to accept any liability for any loss or damage of whatever nature and howsoever arising, or for personal injury or death occurring as a result of your participation in the Competition or the Winner taking up their Prize, except where injury or death is caused by the negligence of a Promoter. Your statutory rights are not affected.
18. All Competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt.
19. The Winner’s surname and county of residence can be requested for a period of one month after the Notification Date by writing to the Promoter at the address provided at the bottom of this document and stating the name and date of the Competition. If the Winner does not want their surname and county included on the list of Winners referred to above, they must notify the Promoter within a reasonable period of time, of no more than 2 weeks after the Notification Date.
Data Protection
20. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will be used by the Promoter for the purposes of administering and fulfilling the Competition and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
21. Entrant’s personal data will be treated in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policies at all times. You can read The Travel Chapter Limited’s privacy statement,

Where you have indicated your consent to receiving communications from the Promoter about their products, special offers, promotions and services as part of entering the Competition, your email address will be added to the Promoter’s email lists and processed in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and the Promoter’s privacy statement set out above. You can opt out at any time.
23. The Promoter will make available the surname and county of the Winner to anyone who contacts the Promoter asking for this information within one month of the Notification Date. If the Winner objects to their surname and / or county being published or made available, they should notify the Promoter of this when responding to the notification email to claim their Prize. In such circumstances the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if, and when requested, to indicate that a valid award took place under the Competition.
General
24. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend these Terms and Conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of the Promoters control. Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
25. The Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
26. The successful Winner may be asked to participate in publicity arising out of the Competition.
27. Should the Competition be cancelled or varied by the Promoter at their discretion if reasonably required to do so, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss of money or expense incurred by entrants or the Winner.
28. Except as specifically set out herein and to the maximum extent permitted by law, all conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law are hereby excluded. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its staff’s negligence or for fraud or for any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded by law or regulation.
29. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) or any other social network or platform.
