This beautiful and idyllic cottage is nestled within a traditional Highland Estate whose values are committed to investing in positive conservation and environmental projects. Surrounded by nothing but the natural beauty of the Highland wilderness, this cottage is a true hidden gem and once found, will never be forgotten.

Views from this property are outstanding, stretching as far as the eye can see to the Cairngorm Mountains and beyond. Secluded and completely private this charming cottage has been designed to mix the delicate touches of French country chic with the bold and confident features of highland character. It is both stylish and elegant inside and out and the care and attention to detail in the furnishings and fittings is inspiring.

The cottage is arranged over two floors and designed so that each room compliments the breathtaking views on offer. There is solid wood flooring throughout, gently softened by colourful rugs giving it a lovely cottage-style feel. The spacious sitting room has a woodburner and is full of warmth and character. Also on the ground floor is one of the twin bedrooms and the charming family bathroom with roll-top bath. The white, spindled staircase takes you upstairs to another twin bedroom, the double bedroom and the shower room.

At the front of the cottage is a delightful covered timber porch with views stretching over the treetops to the distant mountains. Perfect to sit under with friends and a bottle of wine, catching up on the day’s events. Situated on a private estate in the Cairngorm National Park there is vast array of sites and activities to keep you busy throughout your stay here. The Cairngorms are one of Scotland's national treasures and provide the most stunning scenery as well as fabulous walking and cycling trails. It's a great place to start your Highland adventures.

The Cairngorm National Park is twice the size of the Lake District, is home to five of the UK's highest mountains and is rich with wildlife, rivers, waterfalls, lochs, forests and more. Activities such as horse riding, rock climbing, mountain biking and orienteering are just a few that the Cairngorms host and in the winter months it is also a popular ski resort.

For those who are looking to just unwind, Boat of Garten (4.5 miles) is perfect. It's a little village that is known as The Osprey Village as during April to August, Ospreys flock here to nest. The village itself has a golf course, you can fish on the River Spey and there are many cycle paths to explore. As an area of outstanding natural beauty, it is abundant with nature and wildlife and offers a quiet sanctuary on those days when you just need to take it easy.

Lovely spacious, warm and well equipped cottage in an amazing location, was perfect for our Xmas holiday (we enjoyed the decorated tree and Xmas hamper!). The owners were incredibly helpful and responsive when a storm took out the powerlines, bringing additional wood and water for us to tide us over until it came back on. This is a beautiful cottage in a wonderfully secluded loaction, within easy reach of nearby Nethy Bridge. It is a great location for exploring the Cairngorms with lots of great walks and cycle routes nearby. The cottage is well equipped and beauifully furnished. We have stayed in this place twice now and were lucky enough to have daily visits from Read morethe local deer and pheasants and saw a plethora of birdlife in the garden. Fantastic secluded spot which meant eating out was a bit of a trip - but my fault for not looking closely at the location. Lovely characterful property but had less polish than the photos conjured eg. sofas/seating a little uncomfortable for a cosy night in - TV a bit small and in a dark corner - bath enamel a bit chipped and a few squeaky beds butRead more on the whole very clean bed/bath linen and sufficient dining/washing up/ laundry facilities - great boot room. A wonderful cottage in an accessible yet remote location. The views from the south west facing garden were simply stunning. The boot room was an added bonus - perfect for storing wet and muddy walking attire. The two wood burners kept us warm in the evenings to top up the excellent electric heating.
