This semi-detached cottage invites you into a comfortable and homely atmosphere with a traditional cottage style of furnishings and decoration running throughout. Its layout is cosy and family friendly so that you have piece of mind to let the children roam freely but remain under your watchful eye. The cottage is arranged all on one level and offers guests a real home from home experience. Each room is respectfully decorated to retain the Highland cottage feel, using traditional floral patterns, bright colours and soft decor.

The cosy sitting room/dining room is classed as the heart of this cottage and is sure to be where you spend most of your time together as a family. The gallery style kitchen is compact but functional with everything you will need to prepare delicious home-cooked meals for those hungry little tummies! The bedrooms are bright and fresh and offer a comfortable space to rest in after a long day spent roaming the countryside.

Situated in the beautiful Highland landscape there is an abundance of walks and nature trails to explore right from the cottage. Though surrounded by farmland, you are never too far away from amenities, should you need those vital necessities.

Nairn (6 miles) is a pretty seaside town and very popular with holidaymakers due to its attractive harbour, beautiful sandy beaches and riverside walks. Benefitting from its own micro-climate, Nairn is one of the driest, warmest and sunniest places to visit in Scotland. With views over the Moray Firth you might even be lucky enough to see seals, dolphins, porpoises and whales that are known to often frequent these waters.

With plenty of activities available to you in Nairn such as cycling, walking, fishing, golfing and kayaking it is an ideal town to be based near to, should you wish to explore this area of the Highlands. Surrounded by historical sites including Brodie Castle, Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle, Kinloss Abbey and so much more makes this area of the Highlands a location where you can experience everything Scotland has to offer.

A little further up the coast is the pretty village of Findhorn famously known for its eco-village, beautiful sandy beach and attractive harbour. Findhorn along with neighbouring Burghead Bay and Culbin Forest offer many outdoor pursuits and water sports if you are looking for something that bit more adventurous.
