Indulge in a meal out at one of the friendly local eateries in Uig, and visit the shops and brewery. If you fancy heading out for a walk after, then the idyllic Fairy Glen is less than 1 mile away and boasts magical scenes of grassy banks, rocky outcrops and still lakes, as well as the impressive Castle Ewen. Plenty of other walks are close at hand such as the Old Man of Storr and Quiraing. Visit Dunvegan and its renowned castle, or stroll along the glorious coral beaches in Claigan. Further south you’ll find Portree, the capital of the Isle of Skye with its amenities including a cinema and a swimming pool.

House is a great size and perfect for the 3 couples we holidayed with. Garden great for our 2 larger dogs but be careful of the burn down the side of the perimeter. Beautiful house, comfy furnishings, stunning location with beautiful views. Lots of information provided on places to visit/eat etc. Perfect base for discovering The Isle of Skye. Absolutely loved our stay here. Lovely location and there was everything you would ever need and all kitchen items were in great condition. The local shop sold everything would need. Great meal at the Uig hotel and the Galley. The housekeepers are really helpful and respond quickly to any queries, they were very helpful when we had an issue with ouRead morer car. Eight of us stayed and found it a brilliant property. Well equipped, spacious, super snug and in the most beautiful location. With the huge windows giving amazing and expansive views. The boot room / porch was extremely useful for all our outdoor kit!

A beautiful home in an amazing location!! We were a family of 3 generations and the house was perfect for us, ample bedrooms & bathrooms for us all, a lovely big garden for the children to play in.
