This contemporary home is a welcoming place to relax after a day of adventure. Finished to a high standard, the property comes complete with everything you need for an enjoyable stay in the Scottish countryside.

Kick off muddy boots in the hallway and head into the open-plan lounge/kitchen with plenty of comfortable sofa seating and a Smart TV, the perfect spot for a family movie night. Treat yourselves to a delicious home-cooked from the well-equipped kitchen and plan the next day’s activities gathered around the large table in the dining room. The kitchen also houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, which are handy after a day of adventuring. Continuing back down the hallway, you will find a stylish shower room, two spacious double bedrooms – one with an en-suite, and a twin room. With beds finished in crisp white linens, a good night's sleep will be had by all in this rural location.

To the rear of the property is a shared pathway; crossing this, you will find your luxurious hot tub bubbling away, awaiting tired legs. After a dip, fire up the BBQ provided and enjoy an al fresco meal sitting under the beautiful bespoke gazebo. Please note that the hot tub is only available from 10am–10pm daily.

This is the perfect destination for those who like spending time in nature and exploring. Known as the gateway to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, the village of Balloch is just under a mile away and home to a range of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and welcoming local pubs.

Try your hand at a variety of water sports on Loch Lomond, with activities including paddleboarding, wakeboarding, kayaking and water skiing available. Alternatively, take a leisurely cruise from Balloch Pier to see some of the local wildlife. Balloch Castle Country Park (1 mile), with its 19th-century castle and sweeping views across the loch, is home to the Loch Lomond Highland Games each summer.

Loch Lomond Shores (2 miles) is a fantastic family day out, offering a wide range of indoor, outdoor and water-based activities such as the Loch Lomond Aquarium, the Lomond Bird of Prey Centre and the Treezone aerial adventure course. Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s architectural masterpiece Hill House is 8.5 miles away and is a historical gem managed by the National Trust of Scotland.

Of course, no trip to Scotland can be complete without a whisky tasting, so take a tour of one of the distilleries in the area, with both Glengoyne (16 miles) and Auchentoshan (11.5 miles) nearby.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic, peaceful location. Well set up with everything you could need. It was very comfortable and being dog friendly is always a bonus for us!

Very spacious cosy and comfortable accommodation, Outside facilities were great, with paved area, covered seating area and hot tub. The only minor negative would be lack of good off road walks, leaving from the property, our dogs.

What an amazing property to stay in, large and spacious and very clean. Beautiful location and views were outstanding from the property. Great base for visiting places around Loch Lomond, would definitely recommend this property and would come back again for a holiday

Absolutely beautiful, very clean and spacious cottage with a very high standard of finish. It has everything a holidaymaker needs and more. The hot tub is an added bonus to this place, which is maintained and cleaned daily. The cottage is only a short drive away from Balloch and Loch Lomond.
