Relax with loved ones at this wonderful home near Loch Lomond, surrounded by idyllic scenery and ideal for a family gathering or a reunion of friends. Roam the wilds Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, discover the delights of Balloch and try your hand at a range of water sports on Britain’s largest lake. With one dog also welcoming to join you at this well-presented home, no member of the family will have to miss out on your Scottish extravaganza.

This modern building is finished to a high standard and comes complete with everything you need for an enjoyable stay in the Scottish countryside.

Hang coats and store boots in the hallway leading to the open-plan lounge/dining area. A huge corner sofa and a Smart TV offer the perfect place to cosy up with a movie after a busy day exploring the national park. Treat yourselves to a delicious home-cooked meal which can be served around a large table that seats ten comfortably. Alternatively, open the well-equipped kitchen’s French doors for some fresh county air and grab a quick bite on the go at the breakfast table whilst discussing the upcoming activities. The kitchen also houses a washing machine and tumble dryer that are sure to come in useful after a day of adventuring. A spacious double bedroom and a stylish shower room complete the ground floor.

Upstairs, tucked under the sloping eaves of the roof, are three further bedrooms. There's a king-size bedroom and a twin, which both have en-suite shower rooms, as well as a double bedroom, all with plush comfortable beds to fall into at the end of the day.

Outside to the rear is a shared pathway running along the back of the apartments. Across from this you will find your luxurious hot tub, perfect for soaking tired legs or enjoying a sun-downer of two. Fire up the BBQ, cook some fresh local produce and dine alfresco on a warm summer’s evening under the bespoke gazebo. Please note that the hot tub is only available from 10am–10pm daily. There is parking for three cars at the front of the property.

Walkers and ramblers will love this area and you must try a section of the West Highland Way, which you can access at Balmaha (11 miles). If you are a whiskey lover, head to one of the distilleries in the area – Glengoyne (16 miles) and Auchentoshan (11.5 miles) are two of the wonderful distilleries nearby. History and culture lovers can indulge their passion at the National Trust's Hill House (8.5 miles). And if you just want to enjoy the glorious Scottish air, visit Mugdock Country Park (18 miles), which offers over 660 acres of land to explore on foot or two wheels.

The cottage was clean, spacious and above expectations. We would definitely look at booking again in the future. Would highly recommend. Great for families and not too far from Loch Lomond.

Were a family of 8 plus dog and had a great time,place was really clean,hot tub great, plenty of places to go sight seeing and explore all in all great time was had by us all

Fabulous property, very well maintained and everything you need to have a nice relaxing holiday. The location is great too. 5 minutes and youre in Balloch another 10 minutes to the much bigger town of Dumbarton, with all of its historical buildings etc. and it goes without saying, the easy access to Loch Lomond

This cottage, set in a small complex with ample parking, is modern and comfortable. The private hot tub and barbecue in the outdoor space are fantastic. Maybe check the equipment provided if you need to cook for a full household.

This is a beautiful property renovated to high standard and an absolute delight. It is situated in wonderful countryside with easy access to Balloch and the Loch Lomond area with so much to do you will have to make more than one visit. Special mention for astounding outside area which has hot tub, bbq, picnic table and covered seating area. It is pRead morerivate and a gate makes to secure for children and dogs. So much to do in the area but you are going to have to make yourself leave this cottage! Hide
