The bright and spacious lounge has ample room for cosy nights in before the roaring wood burner. Three plush sofas, heaped with cushions and throws, soft lights and plants make this room a haven where you can relax after a day in the great outdoors. A hallway from a corner of the lounge leads to two inviting king-size bedrooms with excellent storage space and a sleek bathroom. This effectively creates a ground-floor wing of the house, ideal for different age groups. Next to the lounge is the light and airy kitchen. Fitted with oak flooring and gorgeous units, it has all you need to prepare a special celebration meal. From the long dining table and chairs, guests can admire the lovely views in comfort as they enjoy the feast and make plans for tomorrow.
Upstairs, each of the two beautiful boutique-styled bedrooms has en-suite showers and large window seats. Piled with cushions and looking out across the grounds, they are a perfect spot for curling up to enjoy a quiet moment.
Outside, there is seating in a pretty garden area and a small lake with resident swans within a 50-metre stroll. You also have free, unlimited access to the celebrated Drummond Castle Gardens throughout your stay. Said to be the finest example of formal terraced gardens in Europe, they date back to the 17th century and are familiar to TV viewers as one of the splendid Scottish locations seen in the TV series Outlander. Your pets are welcome here, but please keep them on a lead. There is parking for up to three cars in front of the house.
