Make memories to last a lifetime in this spectacular Scottish hideaway in the heart of Cairngorms National Park. The spacious property accommodates up to 16 guests across eight bedrooms and is perfect for family reunions and special holidays with friends. The scenic Angus Glens surround the country retreat, providing endless opportunities for outdoor pursuits along mountain tracks, through verdant forests, and beside the rivers. The quaint town of Kirriemuir is 19 miles away, and there is a pub and restaurant just 3.5 miles down the glen.

The luxurious lodge dates back to the 1860s and is full of character and period charm. A Highland theme runs throughout the property’s decor, with subtle tartan fabrics in the soft furnishings and quirky accessories reminding you of the property’s time as a grand shooting lodge. Large windows fill each room with plenty of natural light and frame picturesque views of the surrounding mountains and woodlands.

At the heart of the home is a magnificent lounge, with a variety of seating areas so everyone can spread out and relax after a day of adventure. On chilly evenings, fire up the wood burner to create a cosy atmosphere, and enjoy a sing-song around the baby grand or a spot of stargazing through the telescope. Alternatively, slink off to the snug with your favourite book to curl up in front of the wood burner or challenge your fellow guests to a game of pool in the games room. The large kitchen is equipped with everything needed to rustle up delicious feasts for the group, and there is also a breakfast table for informal gatherings. Completing the ground floor is an exceptional dining room with a banquet-style dining table – the perfect setting for memorable dinner parties with your nearest and dearest. When the day is done, head upstairs to discover eight beautifully appointed bedrooms, offering a selection of king-sizes, doubles, and twins. Seven of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities.

Outside, soak up the sunshine and peaceful setting in the vast, enclosed garden. There is a large lawn for children to play on, as well as a patio with furniture for outdoor dining and sun loungers for relaxing on with a glass of wine at the end of the day. The landscape surrounding the property is truly breathtaking and it’ll be impossible not to feel rested and refreshed after a stay at this secluded lodge.

The area surrounding the holiday home is packed with hidden tracks and trails to explore. You’ll find various routes through the magnificent Glen Clova, where you’ll be rewarded for your efforts with stunning views across Loch Brandy.
