At night, it turns into a cosy haven when the wood burner is lit – the perfect place to relax after a day of exploration. Catch up on the day’s adventures over a delicious dinner cooked in the fully-equipped kitchen, before heading up the three further steps to the Super-King and Twin bedrooms, where a peaceful night’s sleep awaits.
Enjoy evening drinks or al fresco dining on the large balcony, taking in the incredible views over this wonderful part of Scotland. From here, you’ll see almost nothing but green hills and trees, lochs, and nature for miles – the ideal spot to get away from everyday life. A nearby path leads through the woods to the nearby hotel for tasty local scran, while a steep path leads from the cottage down to the loch which was once the site of a 19th-century slate quarry.
