Beautiful barn conversion in a stunning forest setting. If you want to get away from it all, then this is the place for you. The wildlife is stunning. You will see Roe Deer grazing around the property and the squirrels are great fun watch! There are also a couple of friendly Pheasants who are comfortable enough to let you hand feed them. The cottage is set in a stunning forest location with only the local wildlife for company. We really enjoyed watching all the birds and red squirrels each day. Amazing place, great location! We have just returned from a week here where you are able to completely recharge your batteries! Loved our week away in tranquility. Would recommend this property for its high standards of cleanliness, design and location. This is a property to be enjoyed for its forest walks, sitting in the garden, relaxing in the lounge watching the red squirrels and for its location to many sights of interest whatever the age group of your party.

The cottage provided a wonderful experience. It is beautifully located, very clean and all you need are well equipped. The host is friendly and helpful. We enjoy staying there enormously and hope to be back in the future!

If you want to be able to nip out for a pint (of milk or beer) this isn't the property for you. If, however, you want a beautifully appointed property in tranquil isolation surrounded by wildlife then Barclayfield takes some beating.
