This end of terrace cottage with well kept enclosed garden would suit families. It`s position is close to the centre of the village, where you can view the boats going up and down the locks of the caledonian canal. There are lots of local walks, plus places to eat in the village.

Three of us stayed in Cawdor Cottage last week for seven days when we were in the Highlands. We were all impressed by the cottage. The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable; and the overall, the house was peaceful. The location is good as long as you have your own transport, and the village had most of what we needed. The housekeeper was alRead moreso prompt in helping us whenever we contacted them. We would definitely stay in the house again Hide

House was well equiped but had v small kitchen (which did have all new electricsl kit). Big enclosed garden which our dog did enjoy. House is very near to the canal so watching boats go down the canal is an enjoyable pastime. Fort Augustus has god restaurants, bars and tourist shops.
