This light, welcoming and spacious lodge is set in a beautiful spot with stunning panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. With a wonderful private hot tub and ample space for up to four guests, the property makes a great base for a family or couple looking to explore a fantastic part of Renfrewshire. With the vibrant city of Glasgow within easy reach, this charming property is perfect for keen walkers, mountain bikers and golfers, with a dozen or more excellent courses within a few miles.

Entering this delightful and relaxing single-level property via the French doors, you will find the spacious, friendly and charming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which features several floor-to-ceiling windows allowing you to take in the magnificent views. The lounge is a lovely space to unwind in, with a Smart TV and wood burner to snuggle in front of. You can cook all your favourite meals in the bright and fully equipped kitchen and then share them either at the handy breakfast bar or the large dining table. Exploring this attractive property further, you will find two colourful, airy and restful bedrooms: a cosy twin room and the chic master bedroom, which features a king-size bed, Smart TV and en-suite shower room. There’s also a stylish family bathroom complete with a shower over the corner bath and a WC.

Going outside, you can admire the fabulous country views from the large patio where you will find a lovely seating area that is perfect for a spot of al fresco dining. A soothing private hot tub is ideal for sitting back and admiring the spectacular scenery. There is also ample private off-road parking to the rear of the lodge.

The lodge enjoys a fantastic position on the eastern fringes of the magnificent Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park where you can explore miles of stunning woodland and heather-strewn moors or spot rare wildlife including hen harriers. Offering fantastic opportunities for walkers, climbers and cyclists, the park is home to Windy Hill, Misty Law and the disused Barytes Mine. Heading south, the picturesque village of Lochwinnoch (2.5 miles) has a number of great places to eat and drink, as well as an excellent golf course and an RSPB nature reserve where you can see grasshopper warblers, great crested grebes and great spotted woodpeckers. The village also has a vibrant cultural life and holds a regular arts festival. Lochwinnoch lies on the shores of Castle Semple Loch, which has a fantastic Visitor Centre and Country Park where you can take part in a range of activities including sailing, cycling and water sports. Heading north, the Greenock Cut Visitor Centre (18 miles) makes a great base for stunning country walks and relaxing picnics. The historic town of Paisley is within easy reach (10.5 miles) and is home to the Coats Observatory and the ancient Paisley Abbey. The lodge is also ideal for visiting the popular city of Glasgow (21 miles) with its numerous attractions including fascinating museums, art galleries, sport and music venues, heritage sites, restaurants, pubs and independent shops.

Gorgeous cabin with breathtaking views. We will definitely go back. The walk to the local restaurants is really lovely, just a bit tough on the way back up after a very large lunch! Would highly recommend

Great stay. The location is right out of the way with beautiful views - a real escape. Handy enough for local amenities, we drove for a meal out. Takeaways deliver no problem. Hosts were on hand when we needed help. Property is modern and clean. Loved it!

Absolute hidden gem, just returned from a 7 night stay and loved it. Location perfect as was the cabin and hot tub. Great base to go off exploring local areas. Definitely recommend.

Great cottage, lovely location. Beautiful views. Very helpful owners literally saved our break by helping find a garage when my car needed repairs. Very peaceful area yet close to lots of locations, Glasgow, largs etc. Hope to stay again next time we're up visiting.

The lodge was lovely and the view over the countryside to local loch was wonderful. We did a lot of walking and it was great to come back and ease our aches and pains in the hot tub each day. As well as some nice walks locally, it is less than an hour's drive to Loch/Ben Lomond (just into the highlands), and a just over hour to Edinburgh, both of wRead morehich are well worth a visit. A lovely home from home in the middle of nowhere, yet only 20 minutes from Glasgow! This lodge is very special, being one of only two, set in a well laid-out plot with ample parking. A beautiful view across the valley towards the Loch, with only wildlife and stars for company. Yet the nearest shop is 5 minutes drive, a Tesco superstore 10 mins awayRead more. Excellent well equipped lodge in a tranquil location but close enough to visit many places of interest. Had great communications with owners and queries answered very quickly. Dog friendly and added touches of dog bowls and bed in the property.

Fabulous pet friendly lodge in a great location. Warm, comfortable and cosy, excellent for a February break. The views are excellent and the hot tub amazing. Shops near by and plenty of dog walking areas in the vicinity. Lovely helpful and friendly hosts , would recommend to family and friends.

Lovely spacious lodge with fantastic views which can be enjoyed in the relaxing hotel. The lodge is kitted out catering for a variety of guests. Owners are very professional and happy to assist with anything.
