Scotland is well-known for its panoramic views and impressive wildlife, and Central Scotland has these in abundance. Firstly, there is the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, which has plenty of walking and cycling routes to choose from. Its lochs are also spectacular, whether you’re walking around them, canoeing on them or taking a boat ride. Or perhaps you’d like more of a challenge, in which case be sure to bag a few Munros, such as Ben Vorlich or Ben Lomond. There are also plenty of forests to explore, but wherever you go, be sure to pack your binoculars so you can observe the wonderful wildlife in its natural habitat. If you want to be by the water, we have a lovely selection of holiday lodges in places like Argyll and Bute, Dunkeld, Loch Lomond and St Andrews, or if you want to be more city chic our Glasgow lodges and Perth lodges are a nice choice too!
At the end of a busy day, you’ll love returning to your cosy lodge to curl up in front of an open fire. If you'd like even more of a choice of places to stay in Scotland, take a look through all of our Central Scotland accommodation, as well as our personally selected top lodges in Scotland.
