This is a beautifully situated and appointed cottage in a really beautiful part of Scotland. The house is really roomy whilst still retaining the cosy cottage feel, perfect for two or a group of four. I can't recommend it enough, perhaps my rebooking for 2025 says it all.

It is difficult not to sound over effusive about this cottage. We have stayed in some lovely self catering places, some more than once. But Bailebeg sets a whole new standard. Wonderful, well equipped cottage in a superb location overlooking the valley, ideal for walkers and mountain bikers and those wishing to escape the daily grind! Delnabo Estate have recently upgraded their cottages to a very high standard with, it would appear, no expense spared. We cannot recommend it more highly.

The host was friendly and helpful. The cottage is warm, very well equipped, including good quality bed linen, and comfortable. Set in the Delnabo estate, it gives easy access to the Cairngorms and is a reasonable and spectacular drive from Royal Deeside, whisky country and the small fishing villages which dot the Moray Firth.
