The lodge was perfectly situated on the Isle of Skye for touring. Private, cosy, well equipped and exceptionally clean. Lots of thoughtful touches, including splendid welcome pack on arrival. Mr Nicholson was a wonderful host, and we would have no problems in recommending this property to anyone.

The lodge has all a couple or family need for a good base. The website shows all it's comforts and all are good quality. It is in an isolated area so take that into account but it was just what we wanted. Skye is a large island so be prepared for a lot of "interesting" driving to get around all the sights. You can avoid some of the single track roaRead moreds but you will miss much of the scenery. Take large scale O/S maps with you for the best routes. Hide

Located in a beautiful quiet spot. On arrival we were extremely pleased to be welcomed by the owner who showed us round and how to use all appliances. The property is almost brand new with a modern feel and extremely well appointed with colour coded furniture and decor. We were overjoyed with the owners generosity and attention to detail with all hRead moree supplied. This is luxury self catering beyond anything we have experienced. Highly recommended!! Hide

Scotland is home to the ten highest mountains in the UK – including Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest peak – and is bordered by three seas, offering epic scenery unlike any other you may have seen.

Whether you choose to explore the Highlands, lowlands or islands, lovers of the great outdoors will be thrilled by the stunning Scottish landscapes where some of the rarest UK wildlife can be glimpsed, including golden eagles, dolphins and whales. Take a road trip on the North Coast 500, Scotland’s version of Route 66, to experience the sheer beauty of the land’s wilderness or, as Scotland is the home of golf, either tee off at one of the 550 courses across parkland, heathland and links courses.

Scotland is also a land of unique culture where the people are renowned for their incredible warmth and hospitality. Experience the peaceful Isle of Lewis where Scots Gaelic is widely spoken, or immerse yourself in the cosmopolitan cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen which are vibrant with thriving arts scenes, delicious restaurants and bustling nightlife.
