This was the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. It was lavishly equipped and the "welcome pack" unexpected and generous. The owner attended and ensured that we had no problems. The lodge has all a couple or family need for a good base. The website shows all it's comforts and all are good quality. It is in an isolated area so take that into account but it was just what we wanted. Skye is a large island so be prepared for a lot of "interesting" driving to get around all the sights. You can avoid some of the single track roaRead moreds but you will miss much of the scenery. Take large scale O/S maps with you for the best routes. Hide
