The bustling market town of Hawick (11 miles) boasts galleries, museums and eateries for an evening off self-catering.

With a stylish, contemporary design and a well thought out open-plan interior, your bespoke micro lodge is the perfect romantic getaway. Neutral tones and wooden floors create a calming and peaceful atmosphere whilst the fabulous views from the French doors and decking enhance the sense of tranquillity and unity with the natural environment.

Step onto your fully enclosed private decked area where you will find your indulgent outdoor hot tub. Enter your fabulous lodge where the open-plan accommodation has a bright and airy feel, with clean lines and neutral tones with bright splashes of colour. Spend your day exploring the spectacular Scottish countryside before curling up on the comfy sofa and enjoying the views. Prepare delicious dinners in the well-equipped compact kitchen area and set the table for two in the cosy dining area. When it’s time to turn in, snuggle up in the comfy double bed at the back of the lodge. You also have a stylish shower room.

Your fully enclosed decked area looks out across open fields and rolling hills. Nature lovers will appreciate the area surrounding the lodge which is a haven for wildlife. There are walks straight from the doorstep through the surrounding countryside. Lace up your walking boots for a hike along the Teviothead Circular, a 9-mile trail along quiet country lanes, passing the grave of notorious reiver Johnny Armstrong and the memorial to Superbike champion Steven Hislop.

Well worth a visit is Hawick (11 miles), the largest of the Scottish Border towns. Famous for its textiles, browse the boutiques selling cashmere and tweed, gaze on the imposing sculpture of the horse, commemorating the largest and oldest Common Ridings, and discover the town’s heritage in the Textile Towerhouse Museum. Enjoy walks along the banks of the River Teviot as you explore Wilton Lodge Park and find the perfect spot for a picnic. On the outskirts of town, discover the blood-thirsty history of sinister Hermitage Castle (16 miles).

Hop in the saddle to explore the scenic landscape by bicycle. Discover the heather-strewn moorland of Lindean Moor and tranquil Lindean Loch Nature Reserve on a circular trail from Selkirk (20 miles). Explore the stunning Bowhill Estate (25 miles) and Ettrick Water, or challenge yourself with the 79-mile long Borderloop Hawick, through peaceful valleys with steep ascents and exhilarating descents.

Brilliant location on top of a hill within farmland with just one other lodge nextdoor and near a farm building. Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and the crowning glory was the gorgeous hot tub. This place was ideal for what we wanted i.e. a place to just relax and where it was nice and peaceful for our nervous rescue dog. We had the best chilled stay at Falnash Lodge this week. The view was incredible looking over the mountains. The pod was absolutely amazing and the hot tub was even better! we will definitely be back. Everything that we needed was provided including robes, towels and flip flops. We couldn't Fault anything

Couldn't fault anything with the lodge it was lovley, it was clean, comfortable and everything we needed was there. The view were amazing especially watching the sunrise in the morning or even looking up at the stars on a clear night. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here, so peaceful and homley.

Absolutely love this place, complete serenity, utterly peaceful.... the views are amazing, with many scenic walks nearby or a drive - Hadrians wall, Northumberland national park, Kielder forest and castle approximately 1 hr. I will be back, especially during firework season as my wee dog is so chilled, enjoys the walks and most importantly doesnt nRead moreeed sedation. It maybe more expensive than sedation but my dogs happiness is well worth it. Highly recommend a stay Hide

Fabulous place for stars, sunsets and rises, hot tub is perfect at the end of the day. Perfect location and just right for two people and a dog. Lovely and clean and a perfect place to hide from the rest of the world for a few days. I think we would love to visit again soon.

Lovely secluded location. The lodge was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The hot tub was great after a day out, and the views were spectacular. Hawick has good shops, cheap fuel and a lovely big park where dogs can be exercised, Kielder Water is about an hours drive, and is well worth a visit with more good walks and views. If Read morewe wanted to stay local there are some good forest walks nearby. We highly recomend this lodge. Hide

Just come back from such a great break away. Everything you need in one place without it being too cramped. Views are unreal and pictures just don't do it justice. Lovely hot tub with again great views. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful break away with nothing but fields in sight!

The lodge was well equipped and comfortable. This was an ideal holiday to relax and recharge the batteries. It's an ideal spot to access everything the boarders has to offer. Due to Covid 19 this was limited when we were on holiday but enjoyed lovely walks in the countryside and views were amazing.
